How do I setup wireless N technology on Dell Inspiron 560 Intel Core 2 Duo

The Dell instructions are too vague. I received Dell Wireless 1525 WLAN Card Quick Start Guide with 2 external antennas. Where is the card or do I need to purchase?

Came with 2 screw on antennas- I thought a wireless 1525 WLAN card came in my computer-if so to what do I screw on antennas ? The Quick Start Guide shows the 1525 WLAN card. Is this inside my computer or do I need to puchase separately?

Try following the instructions in the quick start guide. That is what it is for after all. The card goes inside the case, look on the back and see if there is anywhere to fit the antenna. If there isn't you will need to buy a wireless card(it doesn't have to be Dell or even a card- a USB wireless dongle will do the same job and is easier to fit and set up.

For PCI adapters, I go with TrendNet. I would recommend a USB adapter though. They come in all shapes and sizes, but they all pretty much do the same thing. Here is a link to a ton of them:

The core 2 Duo should be used the same as any single core PC. The only difference is that with the Duo, the computer itself will utilize both cores as needed. Simply use it as you would any other PC.

Dell Inspiron 1525 has black screen and blue lock icons are active, with centre(of three) flashing.

Remove all Drives, battery, RAM and wireless cards, see if anything changes, if not replace the motherboard. If error changes, add 1 RAM module back and see if system POSTS. If it doesn't , try the other module, if still no go, replace motherboard. If you do get a change, add items back until you ID the failed item.

I have an Inspiron 1525 and have just upgraded to windows 7 from vista. i have a report telling me my .Dell modem diognostic tool and .Intel proset/wireless aren't working, how do i fix this problem?...

Hi,
This is not a problem of Windows 7.
You have to install again, BUT, you have to remove from your cumputer the internet cable. If you don´t have the internet cable conect forget this.

The problem her i think is the instalation of windows 7.
Put the Windows 7 on a CD then turn on the PC. and install.
When you install the windws 7, do the manual install, not automatic.
If i didn´t help you, explain, give me more information...
