SOURCE: Panasonic TH-42PX60U plasma TV: red blinking light

are you using a PC to feed a signal or maybe a cable with an adapter?
I had the same issue when I used one of the rear HDMI ports to show a PC display. Apparently there is a software difference between the rear and side/front ports. Inputting the PC through the side HDMI port has solved the problem for me (so far!)

Panasonic TCP54VT25 turns off after 30 sec., light blinks 11 times

These blinks (flashes) are fault indication. By the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit stage inside the TV. Count the blinks occur at one time switch ON, carefully. Do it once again, and make sure about the number of blinks. If the flashes are continious, non-stop, the main system control IC should be suspected. If you wish to get more details, check the site linked here. It has blinking codes detail to many brand TVs. Have a TH-50PZ80U and wont come on, light blinks 2 times

A 2 Blink error code is a 15V SOS. Either your D board ( logic pcb ) is bad, or you aren't getting your 15V from the power supply. Check the 15V line from the porwer supply to the logic board. if the 15V are there then you need to replace the D board. If they are not, then your power supply is at fault.
