Blue Screen Of Death

  • You may need to roll back system with System Restore (press F8 during boot and choose safe mode). Start > Search type System Restore. Now choose a date prior to problem. You may have to try a few dates.
  • Uninstall last program(s) that was installed, again in safe mode.
  • Re-install Windows. Clean install works best.
  • Test one DIMM at time. One slot at a time. To eliminate possible bad RAM.
  • Lastly you may have other hardware problems. If it does another blue screen after reloading windows, especially with a clean install.

I'm getting a blue screen

What was the last thing you did before it happened??? installed a driver??? installed a software???, add a device??? this would help a lot to know...10000 things can make Windoze go in a blue screen... bad device, bad driver, corrupted MBR, bad software, bad memory, etc... try booting in safe mode to see if it works, if it does than it's a bad driver or software recently installed or a bad update that went wrong... if it does blue screen even in safe mode than it's a bad hardware, check all hardware... unplug all the hardware than plug back the hardware one by one to pinpoint which hardware is causing the problem... MEMORY, CD ROM, HARD DRIVE, WIRELESS CARD, etc...

Cheers!

Its the problem with hardware driver software. Please remove last installed software/hardware in your system. To remove software run system in safe mode by pressing F8 on system starting and select safe mode then remove last installed hardware by opening device manager or remove software by opening add remove program from the control panel. Then restart system.

I can only boot in safe mode, if i try to boot reguarly it gets the blue screen right after i enter my password to log on

You most probably installed some software or driver before this problem started to occur. So while youre in safe mode try uninstalling recently installed programs. Other way around is to use system restore when your computer boots up in safe mode and gives you the options screen to do a restore. Restore it to a date before your problem started.

My laptop go on then blue screen then turn off

There is one solution for your BSOD problem and it's free,, As soon as you turn laptop on, keep tapping F8 until another screen appears,, then choose safe mode with networking.
Type tdsskiller.exe into google and download from the first site listed. Download the exe not the zip.
once downloaded install to your desktop. Once installed open tdsskiller and run a scan,
Once scan is complete select cure. Once cured, Please reboot your system and you will have no further blue screen errors.. Hope this helps and please rate,,

Dell Inspiron 1520 laptop. Blue Screen

Dear, Requested data was not in memory. An invalid system memory address was referenced. Defective memory (including main memory, L2 RAM cache, video RAM) or incompatible software (including remote control and antivirus software) might cause this Stop message, as may other hardware problems. What you can do is if you have more than one memory modules, you can boot the system with single and see. If this is due to memory leakage issue, you can find it here
