Question about Computers & Internet
How to reinstall windows 7 on windows 8 and set up bios to install windows 7 from disck whit iso
1. option - Removing Windows 8 by installing Windows 7 over it*:
Go to the disc where you have the Windows 7 installer.
Then right click, click on Mount, when done, click on the Setup file and install Windows 7 over your current system.
2. option - Keeping Windows 8 and installing Windows 7 alongside it**:
Restart the Windows 8 system, before Windows logo shows up, keep pressing F12, then choose the disc you have Windows 7 .iso file on.
3. option - Running it from a DVD, but keeping/removing*** Windows 8:
a) go to the disc where you have the Windows 7 .iso file installer.
b) move the .iso file to a easily accessible place like Desktop.
c) then right click on the .iso file and click on Burn disk image, choose the DVD you want to boot from ( You need a readable DVD), and then check the checkbox which says " Verify disc after burning ".
d) click on Burn.
e) when that is done, close all open programs or/and windows and restart your computer, before Windows logo shows up, keep pressing F12, then choose the disc you have Windows 7 installer on.
Note - please read everything carefully. I suggest you to use the 3. method.
* - when in the setup, you have no option to go back to Windows 8.
** - this step might not work, because not all computers support that.
*** - you can choose to either create a new partition on which you will install Windows 7 or install it over Windows 8 by either kepping or not keeping your personal files.
Please reply to this solution: did it help you or not and what improvements in my solutions do you want, and rate my solution from 0-5.

Windows Vista is a very demanding Operating system when it comes to system resources and it doesnt come as a shock to hear that you computer runs warmly, If you werent experiencing any problems when you had windows XP installed, I would suggest downgrading to Window XP, otherwise wait for October 22 and purchase a genuine copy of Windows 7 and use that.

The Laptop come with the motherboard installation disc.Use that disc to install your webcamera automatically.if that disc will not work properly then try to download the right driver for your webcamera . Keep in mind, drivers are vary by the versions of Windows(xp,Vista,7). So you search in google.

SOURCE: I have ASUS x5dc. I
Windows 7 is a very good operating system. But, the laptop may have a slow processor. Try to see if you can upgrade the processor to a core 2 duo or above. Also, try to upgrade or increase the memory to 2 gigabytes or above to 4 gigabytes if possible. The computer is guaranteed to speed up with memory and processor upgrades. Also, try to upgrade the hard disk drive to a SSD or Solid State Drive and you will see awesome speed.

Ubuntu 10.10 Latest Version
which can repair what windows has ruined and is unable to fix fix the problem
either burn it to a disk as an iso and install
you might have burn it to an iso first then boot from the cd rom to install ubuntu or you might just try to install ubuntu directly from the download if it does not install you might save it to a folder then burn it as an iso http://download.cnet.com/active-iso-burner/3000-2646_4-10602452.html
once your computer has corrected and installed ubuntu you will be able to reinstall windows
or keep ubuntu and install windows next door to it
you can have a dual boot computer with both windows and ubuntu linux you will need to partition your hard drive to do this
is a free partition program
hope this helps
