Re: Battery Or Charging Problem.

Put pressure on the back battery cover and try and turn on. The battery contacts might be loose form use. New battery will fix but old battery just needs to be tightened up at the contacts. try and use a very thin pin to pry the contacts toward the center of the cavity. They "hug" the blades in the PSP itself so if you close them in the battery you have a good chance of fixing it.

Re: Battery Or Charging Problem.

Have you updated your firmware recently? Check your PSP to make sure there aren't any loose connections. If you're comfortable with it, you could open it up and make sure the plug for the charger didn't come loose somewhere. It may just need a touch of solder to put it back into place.

Psp not detecting battery

Sounds like you might need a new power board. I know videogame911 does service PSP's your best bet might be to send it in to someone who can tell you exactly what the problem is, specially if you replaced the battery and still have the same issue.

Psp charging problems

It is probably a fault with your battery/connections to the battery from the power cable. Take the battery out and replace it a few times and see if you can get it to come on. If it flashes on with the battery in and then turns off then the battery is flat, try charging it overnight and if this dosn't work then it is not charging properly so you probably require a new battery (can be bought from many places including

Charging PSP Problem.

Never use a higher voltage than is recommende for sensitive electronics, sounds as if when you used the higher voltage you completely overloaded the battery so it won't hold a charge either way, sounds like you will need a new battery if nothing else is damaged.

Psp won't turn out

Try ejecting the battery pack and put it back in after a few minutes. See if that helps anything. I had a problem like this quite a while ago and that's what I did and it fixed it right up. ^-^
