Question about Vacuums
Turn it over and clean out the brushes and collecting area. Blow out the machine with a clean, dry compressed air source.

SOURCE: "Please clean Roombas brushes"
Same thing happened to me. After "cleaning" the brushes and emptying the filter several times, I realized that the brushes were not properly secured. One of the yellow fasteners needed to be pushed closer to the middle nearer to the brushes. It was not secured properly. When I did this it fixed my problem.
