Question about Saeco Vienna De Luxe Espresso Machine

1 Answer

We have had a Saeco Vienna deluxe for 6 years and love it, but now no water comes out the steam spout and sometimes no coffee comes out the 2 coffee spouts and if it does it just barely drips slowly through. Is there something I can do to clear the machine?

SOURCE: My Saeco Incanto deluxe started dripping hot water

What color is the steam manifold? It is located under the black cover with the trough in back under the white tube. If its white or black it probably needs to be replaced. If you cool down the manifold after steaming you can prevent this from happening. Just turn off the steam and then open the knob again to run water. It comes out steam at first but then will turn to a water stream. Then you can close the knob and go about brewing or just let it stand.
But its going to have to be replaced

SOURCE: Saeco Odea Go - Hot water leaks from bottom of machine

That's leaking from the hoses coming out from the boiler,if the machine is new it should be still under warranty, may have to take it back to the service center. When making coffee the lines are under pressure and the water never have a chance to pass through the ground coffee.

Hi
Sounds like you might need a new steam boiler, or you may have a fuse that is blown for the steam boiler.

Hi
I think you put the tubes on backwards to the flow meter. The inlet side of the flow meter is by the pump and the exit to the pump is by the water tank. They cross.

Saeco Vienna Deluxe leaking problem and grinder problem

I would repair it, it sounds like the grinder needs to be adjusted (burrs may be dull), and the leak on the bottom may be coming from the small drain hole on the back of the brew chamber. If you remo;ve the chamber you will see the white water valve that the chamber connect to, if you look below the white valve the small chamber in there will be filled with water, below that there is a small discharge use a stit stick or paper clip to clear hole.

How do I get the steam to work?

If it will make coffee then you have a horse shoe boiler blockage or a steam valve blockage.
Try descaling first. If this does not work you will have to disassemble machine and trace the water lines back from the steam wand to the high pressure pump to detrmine where the blockage is. This can be trickey and is best left to someone with experience with this type of fix.
Contact saeco in Vancouver.

Diverting all of the coffee flow into the bottom tray rather than the cup.

You might want to check and clean the coffee outflow spout ( the adjustable double spout on the outside of the machine) . If it is all plucked up that might be the cause.
