Question about Nintendo Wii Console
I have had a new talktalk router fitted and know i get on internet connction why the old taktalk router worked fine.
Make sure your router is set to accept all incoming connections if connected directly to the router. For WiFi make sure the router network password is typed in correctly and the type of security is correctly selected (WPA/WPA2 ect)

A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: Wii wireless connection
On your computer Open an Internet explorer and type the router IP address which would be either http://192.168.0.1 or http://192.168.1.1
Look for the SSID and write it down.
Also write down the type of encryption you are using. WAP, WEP, or none.
Also write down the security Passphrase.
Also you will need the IP address, in Windows click on Start, Run and enter 'cmd" in the run box.
At the command line type "ipconfig" and record the IP address
On the wii, You should be able to have the wii look for a Wireless Access Point. If that does not work try the Manual Setup in the Internet Connections menu.
Enter Type of Encryption.
Enter Security Passphrase
Enter IP address
MTU value is not required. Nintendo recommends 1500 if you are having issues.
