Internet works via computer, not through router tho....

My internet connection won't work when I have it connected to the router. It does work when connected directly to the computer tho. Is it a wrong setting? What's the problem? Can someone help? I've tried many things already but nothing seems to work.

Same story, can access Internet when connected direectly via Cable Modem and fail when connecting via DI-624. The router log Shows DHCP Disovery failing. When renewing IP address through DHCP the request times out.

Try to reset the router for 10-15 seconds. Access the configuration page of the router and reconfigure your router for Internet connection.

Try upgrading the firmware of your router.

Cable modem is connected to the router but the router is not working wireless or when connected via Ethernet cable

You need to check first if the internet is working if you connect your computer directly to the modem. If there is internet on your modem, you need to reset and reconfigure the router. If there is no internet on the modem, you need to contact your internet provider.

Ethernet connection of DI-524 does not work

You have to make the Ip changes on the laptop not on the modem.
You said you have internet acces on one computer. Then use that computer to find out the exact IP address used by the modem.
On the laptop use the exact same numbers, (IP, Sub mask, Gateway, Primary DNS)
and chek if it works.
If you want to have both computers on the Internet, simply change the last number on the IP address ONLY.

Belkin Router not allowing an Internet connection

It's not unheard of for a router to fail. When you connected the computer to the Modem, did you use the same cable that was connected to the router? Does your internet connection require a username and password? If so, is that configured in your modem, or the router? If not in the modem it must be the router.

Internet connection

Ok I have done it a little different sometimes... try this approach... First connect up the DSL Modem to the PC via Ethernet.. Configure the modem from the PC using the Connect to the Internet Wizard... enter all ya ISP details Logon, Password etc. Once this is going OK.. Disconnect the Modem... and then connect it up to the "Router" using the "Uplink" port and when connect ya Modem to the router... then connect another Ethernet cable from Router to same port on ya PC. Then simply use the network setup Wizard to set up an Internet Connection and connect up via ya router thru ya modem... generally works for me....
