SOURCE: Replace oven baking element on Kitchen Aid model # KESC300BWH6

It is easy!! After you remove the two screws pull straight out and do so easily, there are two female spade connectors on the element that you'll have to remove. When removing don't pull on the wire itself, pull on the connector. You may have to use pliers.

My kitchen aid "superba " convection oven is not maintaining it's temperature. It has only one heating element on top.

There is a good chance there is a hidden element on the bottom. This is common on higher end ranges. It could be a bad element.

KERC607HBS4 kitchen aid electric range need to replace hidden bake element but I don't remember which color wire went where

You can probably find that in the manual. I believe it is the green wire that needs to be reconnected. I would definitely check first though.

The baking element isn't working.

You can replace the element. The element should just plug in to the oven. You might have to remove a few bolts that hold the element in place. Get the model number of your range and call your local appliance stores, or order it online. Unplug the old element and plug in the new element.

While baking my wife noticed sparks coming out of the baking element or coil. can we continue to use the stove top or should we leave it unplugged.also how much does it cost to replace the element

It sounds like the element shorted out and needs replacement. I would not continue to use the oven, although it should be ok to use the stove.

It's difficult to say what a new element plus installation will be, but you can call around and get estimates. Have the model number, type and serial number available if possible before you call.
