Question about JVC Rm-srx6020j Rmsrx6020j A/v Receiver Remote Replaces Rm-srx5020j

Open Question

I need replacement remote control RM-SRX5020J.

I know RM-SRX5020J has been discontinued and your site says that RM-SRX6020J is a replacement. How can I order this replacement? The Volume '-' button on our original remote is not working; the '+' is working fine as are all other buttons.

Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

SOURCE: The JVC remote control, model

Since the top buttons are working fine, i doubt that the remote is faulty. Sometimes its due to moisture/dust accumilating on the remotes board and creates a barrier against the board and the buttons. You may need to open the remote and clean the surface of the mainboard.

Hope this helps

SOURCE: Remote control

You need to resurface the contacts. Here's how you do it:
First, disassemble the remote. Clean the black foil pads on the circuit board with rubbing alcohol. Now take a #2 pencil and a razor and shave the graphite from the "lead" onto a piece of paper (hold the blade perpendicular to the lead, this results in a finer powder). Now that you have a nice pile of powdered graphite, blot a Q-Tip into it to saturate the cotton with graphite. Rub the graphite onto the little black pads on the rubber button membrane, and be sure to apply more graphite to the Q-Tip every 2 to 3 buttons. Blow off any excess graphite. reassemble remote and test.

SOURCE: Need instructions on programming

JVC offers the manual through their website:

See this link:

http://books.jvcservice.com/booklist.asp?Model=XV-N50BKJ

That's for the DVD player XV-N50BK. Check your model number before going with that manual. If that's not your model number, look on the left side of the page where the link is at and you will see a link for getting user manuals. Just enter in your model number and it will give you a PDF that you can download, save, print... whatever.

SOURCE: cd player works and volume control all other buttons won't

I have seen broken board inside. Have you ever pushed the front panel? If so, the board behind the control is cracked. If you are a tech, open and solder. If not, take it to a service center

Need model number of remote control for SONY CDP-C321 CD Player

Remotes.com lists the remote as RMD315 here: http://www.remotes.com/SearchResults.asp?Search=cdpc321 . They have a replacement remote that should be an exact replacement. Sony calls it the RM-D315 in some places and gives the part number as Sony 1-465-733-11 . This site has a refurbished version of the Sony remote: http://www.emtcompany.com/sony-rmd315-remote-control/1009495.html .

I hope this helps.

May I know the platinum midi yd999 code in universal remote RM-88E

To select a proper universal remote control, you should know about the number of digits to its set-up codes. There are 3 digit, 4 digit, 5 digit, 2 digit and even single digit codes, to some brand devices. After confirming this, check the sites linked here. Both the sites have set-up code list and set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. Check which brand remote control has set-up code/s to your device brand, and buy that one according to availability.
Brand name of the remote control isn't a matter, but it should have set-up codes in its code list, to the device brand you have.
Please note: Every new universal remote control will have set-up code list, and set-up procedure along with its pack. Never accept a remote control, that hasn't both of this. For more details about the set-up codes, visit the site http://electrohelponline.blogspot.com/ Check this site too. http://remotesearch.blogspot.com/ Universal remote controls are available at most of the electronic spare part selling shops.
Type in the brand name of your device, in the search box [at the top right] of the display window, and press enter to get all related posts. It will make surf easy.

Did you install the batteries correctly?
Some remotes (Universal) need to be re-programed when you install new batteries.
Go to remotefinder.rca.com/default.aspx?site=rca for proper codes.
