Buy a USB laser Mouse and plug it in a USB port and forget about the touch pad. You'll like it!

Under the touch pad there are two buttons the left one should bring up the context menu (Left Click).
The right one is a standard select button.

Speakers disabled

Right click on my computer, click on manage, then a new window should open up. In that window to the left there should be a section labeled Device Manager. Click on it, look for Sound, video and game controllers, and re-enable your speakers. Should work from there.

How to format my toshiba laptop

Hi mikey mcinto...Are you sure you want to format the hard drive and lose everything...
I hope you have all your files backed up because you are going to lose everything.
Why not try to "Restore" your laptop to an earlier time when it was working properly...
Try this Left click on "Start">All Programs>Accessories>System Tools> Restore
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you still want to format your hard drive then you will go to "My Computer and double left click on it, then you will go to C: drive or whatever drive letter is your main drive and right click on it and a drop down window will appear..it will list Format...click on it and follow the instructions on the screen.

I need to copy text with this built in mouse on my Toshiba laptop...cannot figure it out.

Hi there! To copy text follow these steps, 1) Put the mouse cursor at the beginning of the text you want to highlight. Click the left mouse button and then drag the cursor to the end of the text that you want to copy. The text should now be highlighted blue. 2) Right click on the highlighted blue text 3) Left click on the "copy" option in the menu that just opened.
If you cannot get the right click menu to work, there is a keyboard shortcut for "copy" - CTRL-C After the text is highlighted, press those two keys at the same time to copy.
To paste, right click where you want the text to go, then select "paste" - keyboard shortcut is CRTL-V

HOW DO I TURN ON THE WIRELESS ON MY TOBISHA LAPTOP

If you're using a Toshiba laptop and you can't figure out how to enable WiFi you probably aren't alone. Thankfully there are several approaches you can take from a hardware and Windows Operating System stance to turn on your wireless connection while making sure you can properly connect to a wireless network.
Difficulty: Easy Instructions

    • 1 enable-wireless-toshiba-laptop-1.1-800x800.jpg

Look at the keyboard options on your laptop. You should see a button that looks like a small antenna. The button placement may vary from device to device. For instance, you may have a dedicated button or it may be placed much like the option circled in the picture to the left of this step.

    • 2

Click on the "Windows Start Button" and Navigate to "Control Panel" then click on "Network Connections" or "Network and Sharing" depending on your version of Windows.

    • 3

Right-click on your wireless connection icon once the "Network Connections" window opens. Choose "Enable" and left-click on that option with your mouse. Wait for the wireless connection to enable.

    • 4

Alternatively you can try clicking on the " Windows Start Button" and then clicking on "Connect to," where you will click on "Show all connections." When the connection window opens up, you should right-click on "Wireless Network Connection" and then choose "Enable." Now right-click on "Wireless network connections" and then choose "View Available Wireless Networks" to see if your WiFi adapter is enabled.

Hope this was helpfull

How do you open up a Toshiba Satellite A105?

well i would not recommed you to open the toshiba all by your self... first of all you cannot compare any other system with a DELL as most of the DELL computers are easy to knockdown but the other in the market a complicated.. so contact a local tech.. or else see if you can find the instructions in the owners manual of your laptop..
