What make and model camera? As a wild guess, I'd say that your camera only works with SD cards, which max out at 2GB, and will not work with higher-capacity SDHC cards.

Memory stick lost does camera work without one?

Yes, but not very well. At full resolution the camera will hold about seven pictures or sixteen seconds of video.
I strongly suggest buying at least one SD card. Make sure you get SD cards and not SDHC cards, as the latter will not work in this camera.

Go into the menu and find "copy" and copy the internal memory to a memory card. Then, with no card in the camera, go into the menu and find "format"....follow the on-screen instructions to erase the internal memory.

16mb

Sixteen MB is not very much memory when it comes to digital images. I do wedding photography and it is not unusual for 1 image to take 8 -12 mb of memory. I can use up to 8 GB on one wedding. Depending on how many megapixels your camera has you may only get a few images on 16mb card.

Replaced batteries, then eight photo's later memory card error appeared on screen. Removed card and was advised that nothing was coming up when placed in machine. Have i lost all the photo's on this memory...

I cannot preach this enough... back up, back up, and back up. If I only had a nickel for every time ... ok all joking aside.

There is software you can use to recover images, might not restore every single image 100% but if there are a lot of images you want off of the card, then this might be the only way for you to get the images off.

Now mind you I have used all kinds of software for picture recovery, some are better than others, but it is up to you what you want to spend for recovering your files.

Here are a couple of pages to check out.

I hope this help you out.

Computer is very slow.

McAfee virus software is a memory hog. You need to add more memory to your pc. It uses pc3200 memory. This computer has a memory capacity of 4gigabytes. The memory slots are numbered this way......starting from the memory slot closest to the processor>
one, three, two, four. 1 and 2 work together, 3 and 4 work together. So if you buy just 2 gigabytes......put them in 1 and 2. This will help. Sounds like the virus software is doing a full system scan....you could do a "quick"scan and do a "full" scan once a week....

I want a diagram of 4X16 multiplexer circuit ..................

it's not a multiplexer, that's called an encoder.

Multiplexers are sort-of like switches. They "choose" one of the X inputs based on an input "selector" and output it
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multiplexer

but what you're looking for is something that decodes a 4 bit binary input into a 16 bit output where for each possible input, one unique outputs out of the 16 are high. That's a four-to-sixteen line decoder.

They're kind of useless. Three-to-eight decoders are much more common.

Here's an article on how decoders work, and it shows an example of a three-to-eight line decoder. You can easily take that and extend it to be a four-to-sixteen line decoder once you understand the process.

this camera has hi-resolution which takes up a lot of memory, the internal memory of the camera is only sixteen megs. all you need is to add an sd card with 1 gbyte of memory and that will solve your problem.

Mermory code lock

Select the memory card folder and Options > Set password. The password can be up to eight characters long. The password
is stored in your device, and you do not have to enter it again while you are using the memory card on the same device. If you
want to use the memory card on another device, you are asked for the password.
