External screen light dosent shut off - LG enV2 Cell Phone

IF YOU ARE SURE THE WATER SUPPLY IS ON. SHUT OFF WATER TO MACHINE AND REMOVE HOSES ON BACK OF MACHINE AND CK SCREEN ON VALVE THEY CAN BECOME PLUGED AND WILL BLOCK WATER FLOW. PUT THE HOSES IN A BUCKET AND TURN ON JUST TO BE SURE IT IS NOT ANOTHER PLUMBING PROBLEM.

i found the Averatec link for support -- i was able to locate something may help you -- but if you are not egtting any viewing, then the LCD panl;e may be defective or dmagaed somehow.

connect it to an external monitor and click f5 once if it dosent work it means that your monitor is burned

If you get a post screen with Acer written on it at startup, and the screen turns off when loading the system (Windows or Linux), then you need to reinstall the system using an external USB cd unit and the recovery disk that was provided with your Acer.

If instead the display has no screen at all , try connecting an external monitor to test the laptop.

If you get picture on external monitor, then the Aspire One has a faulty LCD ribbon cable or a faulty LCD display or inverter.

If you get no picture on external screen , then you have a faulty motherboard, possibly faulty video chipset on motherboard.

In any case check your Acer One warranty, all the faults listed are covered by Acer warranty for one year.
Contact Acer at the number listed on documentation to have the computer repaired.

The usb port in your compute dosent support usb 2 please change the port if your system is latest dont connect both the usb cables of the hdd cauz the latest system is with usb 2 and dosent need power if old system please connect the power usb first and then the data usb cable it should work
please also try to connect to another port of your pc if available

Without more information I cannot be sure, but I would say that it could possibly be set to use an external monitor. There is a FN key command to switch between your LCD Screen and an external screen. Try that. If you have an external monitor that you can plug into the VGA connection, that should tell you for sure. when the external monitor is connected hold down the function key " f n " ( which is located 2nd on left of lowest row ) and then press either the F4 or F5 function keys on top line....the one that has a small icon like a rectangle or tv screen on it ....it has usually 3 toggle positions so if it dosent work first time then just press the same key again (still holding fn key) until it allows the monitor to get the signal.....if F4 dosent work then go thru the same sequence with F5 but depending on the laptop model it could be any one ...F3/F4/F5/F6 the usual suspects....

yep i have the same problem too. no date display. it displays the date on the outer screen when i flip the phone shut. but not on the main screen when it is open.
