Try purchasing a water proof makeup remover that you swipe onto the eyes, that should do the trick. For extremely stubborn mascara, I sometimes resort to a little lotion on a rag or baby oil. If helps it slide off and break away! Good luck

SOURCE: Best False Eyelashes.have big blue eyes but being

I recommend the ones they sell at Sally's! Ardell is the brand. I really do think the strip kinds are easier to apply than the individual.. and much QUICKER to apply as well. It took me more time to apply a few individual lashes at the outer corners of my eyes than to apply an entire strip. I also couldn't tell a big difference with the individuals.

I try to find ones that look, well let me try to explain this... I bought some that looked "natural" and they were very long and not thick enough and looked funny. If it makes sense, some of them criss cross at the bottom very slightly, and I think these gave the best look. They looked natural but just gave my lashes a boost. Just don't get anything TOO wild and you will be fine. I actually only noticed a slight difference in pictures when I wore them, but I could see them more in person. There was a particular kind sold at grocery stores that had rhinestones or a tiny bit of glitter on them... the jewels were a bit much, but the lashes were GREAT so I'd just pick them off. Some lashes are just VERY noticably wild and some are a little too plain.

So I try to find ones labeled "glam" or "dramatic" but that still look natural at the same time. The very thin natural ones just didn't work for me and were thinner than my real lashes. Then of cousre the wild party ones can be a little TOO out there!

SOURCE: why am I having such

I have done some research on Google for you and I have provided the links to some sites below, where you can buy your favorite mascara. Amazon are selling it for $7.79, of course I don't know how that compares with the prices that you have seen.

One way of saving on almost any brand or product is to use coupons, so I have also found you some sites with MF coupons which should help you to spend less. If you use printable coupons, you could buy it in your local store and make good savings. Just click on the links and the page will open in a new tab. I hope this helps.

My face sweats terribly in the summer time. What mascara do you recommend.

Welcome to Fixya,

If you wear an ordinary mascara during such times, the sweat might smudge your eye makeup. In the market, you will find a special line of mascaras that are dedicated to combating sweat while working out. The labels of these mascaras clearly mention that they are sweat resistant.
If you go swimming every other day, you sure need a mascara that will stand the test in water. Waterproof mascaras that effectively keep the water out of your lashes are best for this purpose. These mascaras do not smudge and leave no trace of eye make up on your cheeks. Usually, the label on the mascara should give you an idea about the special purpose of the mascara. The only problem with this kind of mascara is that it is very difficult to remove. You may use baby oil or a water based eye makeup remover to get rid of the waterproof mascara.

I can give you this Dior Diorshow Waterproof Mascara.Of all brands that I constantly hear praise for, Dior is number one for mascara. Luckily, they make a waterproof version of their famous makeup. It gives a glam, high fashion look to your eyes that can withstand some summer fun.

This is a bit pricier at around $24 a piece and comes in Azure Blue, Chestnut and Black.â You can find it online and at certain department stores.

I hope this tip can help you on your issues.

Thank you for using FixYa.

I was just wondering what the expiration date is on your mascara if it is unopened?

Hello Dear

Expiration date on mascara shows that it would may be get dry on this date. if you unopened the mascara for a longer time after the expiration date, you would not be able to use that. or may be it would have a bad effect on your lashes.

When applying 2 different mascaras one for lengthening and one for thickening, which should be applied first? Also is there a great mascara that does both and curl too or am I asking for too much? Thanks

If you already have two separate products that you favor to do the separate jobs of lengthening and thickening the lashes, you should always apply the lengthening mascara BEFORE the thickening product. The reason for this is that a thickening formula could more readily become clumped when layered over by the addition of the lengthening formula.

However, there are a number of new products on the market that are specialized to given women the looks they are after. When it comes to mascara, the current "new face" on the market is the "Exact" line from Cover Girl. This product line comes in three formulas: Lash Exact, Volume Exact, and Curl Exact and user reviews have been overwhelmingly positive.

The Volume Exact is (as would be reasonable to assume) designed to thicken the eyelashes, while the Lash Exact claims to thicken and elongate the lashes in one product. The Curl Exact mascara is meant to provide longer, thicker lashes with a brush designed to curl the lashes as well.

Are cosmetics safe?

Yes, for the most part. Serious problems from cosmetics are rare. But sometimes problems can happen.

The most common injury from cosmetics is from scratching the eye with a mascara wand. Eye infections can result if the scratches go untreated. These infections can lead to ulcers on the cornea (clear covering of the eye), loss of lashes, or even blindness. To play it safe, never try to apply mascara while riding in a car, bus, train, or plane.

Sharing make-up can also lead to serious problems. Cosmetic brushes and sponges pick up bacteria from the skin. And if you moisten brushes with saliva, the problem can be worse. Washing your hands before using make-up will help prevent this problem.

Sleeping while wearing eye make-up can cause problems too. If mascara flakes into your eyes while you sleep, you might wake up with itching, bloodshot eyes, infections, or eye scratches. So be sure to remove all make-up before going to bed.

Cosmetic products that come in aerosol containers also can be a hazard. For example, it is dangerous to use aerosol hairspray near heat, fire, or while smoking. Until hairspray is fully dry, it can catch on fire and cause serious burns. Fires related to hairsprays have caused injuries and death. Aerosol sprays or powders also can cause lung damage if they are deeply inhaled into the lungs.

To find out more about cosmetic safety, please visit FDA's cosmetics safety section at http://www.fda.gov/Cosmetics/ProductandIngredientSafety/default.htm.
