Hunter Fan. Lights blinking on and off. I have read that it is the light governor and I should remove it and wire direct. I need more detail. Where is the light governor and how do I wire it...

the watt governor is inside of light assembly. it is a square black box. take this out and hook it direct, white wire to white wire, black wire to red wire. and this should solve the blinking lights. good-day!
