Hunter fan works light broken

Check to make sure light wires are connected at light kit & remote. Otherwise it's probably a bad receiver. If there is a pull chain for the light pull it once & try the remote light button again.

Fan light turns on but doesn't turn off with remote also fan doesn't go on with remote

Make shure your batteries are good in the remote. Also some remotes have little dip switchers inside the battery cover that are either on or off. They must be in the same position as the dip switches on the receiver in the top canopy of the ceiling fan or the remote & receiver won't talk to each other. Apart from that you will probably need to replace the remote control & receiver unit.

Neither remote or wall switches will operate Hampton Bay 52

Check your wall switch you either lost your neautral or have a bad connection on your switch. Solution check white wires that are twisted tougher in wire nut and check the black wires on switch to make sure one of them don't pull out . Over time the black wires pushed in back of switch can work loose .

I installed model 27303 ceiling fan with light. I had an electrician inspect the wiring to make sure everything was wired correctly, and it was. With the power on the fan/light operates with the remote...

Is it possible that there is another remote, either yours or a neighbor's, close enough to operate it?
I installed a remote operated ceiling fan & it is hard wired, there is no switch. If that happened to me, I'd be stuck never knowing when it will come on.
Can you change the remote code?

We have a ceiling fan Apollo 52' Model 355-6788 but we don't have any instructions on how to put it up. Please send us instructions on how to do this.

On the remote part that goes inside the fan, it has five wire on it. One Red wire marked L goes to black switch wire from switch or Hot wire. Other Red wire goes to Net. wire from switch.or feed. Then you have A black, a blue & a white. They connect to wires from the fan. When finished connect turn light switch on, leave on & used remote control. Top left button controls the fan on/off. bottom left button controls light on/off.dimmer. There you go, all the know how to connect remote & fan/light up. Good Lucky.
P.S. You will need to buy a 9v battery for the remote, it doesn't come with it

Lost remote

Hi there,

Well you can purchase a universal remote in place of your lost remote. You need to connect the universal remote to your fan, universal remotes have a code search button or sequence. Turn on your fan, activate code search, & press the power button until the appliance turns off, then press the set button. or use the manual book provided by the universal remote manufacturer.

Good Luck!!

Thanks for using FixYa!!
