Although you can't connect old (prior to 2009) Hallmark ornaments to LED light strings, Hallmark has addressed this problem by releasing a new solution called the "Legacy Cord". This new technology will power up to 4 magic ornaments and can be purchased at any Hallmark Gold Crown store. On a cautionary note, please be aware that this new technology may not work as well as the old incandescent light strings did.

use double sided tape. recommend 3m tape.."gorilla glue" makes a really good double sided tape. make sure you clean both car and ornament with alcahol where ever the tape is going to be. or you could use hi-temp high strength hot glue.
After you buy the new ornament, to take the old one out, get a small
phillips head screwdriver and a big, soft rag. Basically, you just use
the rag to keep from scratching the paint on the hood as you work the
screwdriver (may be easier with two) underneath the ornament, and
slowly work it up enough that it just pops right out.
The ornament has two posts at the 3 and 9 o'clock position. Work evenly at these two points.
