a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: computer will not boot
1. Reboot with windows cd in the drive
2. When asked to press any key to go into windows setup do so.
3. Wait for the menu to come up, it'll take a while to load drivers, you just have to be patient.
4. Press R at the menu for recovery console.
5. It will ask for your administrator password, when it does press enter or type it if there is one.
6. At the prompt type chkdsk /r and press enter
7. Wait.... Could take an hour.
8. Type exit and your done.
This is normaly caused by a corrupt filesystem and that check disk should sort it.

SOURCE: windows will not start because
The above message refers to Window Crash.
Either you need to load all the files that have been deleted or affected or You might need to reinstall windows.
I would advise you to reinstall windows. Make sure you create a back up of the same so that you will not lose saved data, if any.
Any further help, let me know.
Thanks for using Fixya.

SOURCE: my computer is missing a file
Sometimes using the "repair" option first on a reinstall will fix it.
Basically what is missing is the system configuration information.
Another option is to remove the drive and place it into a working machine and then scan the drive with a file recovery utility to find the missing files and restore them, that depends on how technical you are or familiar with file recovery procedures.

SOURCE: windows could not start because
here is an article from Microsoft on how to recover from this but the bad thing is you will need a CD with your operating system on it. if you are running windows xp you can borrow one from a friend and it will work. here is the link anyway and good luck.
