Audi TT 225 aircon condenser slight leaking from top.

Hi Andy
As Roger said take it to an AC specialist and have it checked, it will probably need re-gassing. AC gas leaks show up as an oily substance.

Air con leak

usually the evaporator is right by the blower motor under the dash.although(sorry to say) a/c leaks can be like cancer in a person. Also ask a mechanic if the expansion valve needs to be changed also.be carefull taking it out and you will need orr ring replacements in the joints you take apart .when you are finished you need someone to do a pressure and vacuum the lines before any new coolant is put in,(coolant R12 ect)and ask if the dyer needs to be replaced

2007 Honda Shadow Spirit 750 carburetor overflow

Hi, James and the usual suspects are:
1. Damaged or restricted fuel tank venting system.
2. Loose float bowl screws.
3. Damaged float bowl o-ring.
4. improper fuel level in the float bowl.
5. Worn or dirty inlet valve or seat.
6. Damaged or leaking float assembly.
7. Particle contamination in inlet fitting cavity.
8. Damaged petcock diaphragm allowing fuel to flow through the vacuum line into the combustion chamber.

Freon doesnt stay in. It keeps dripping out. Dealership quoted over $800. Is there a temp fix to this problem?

nope.depending where it dripping from.if its from a metal air con hose joint then its a $2 o ring seal and some re gassingif its from the compressor then it could also be leaking compressor oil, and if it has been running with no oil then it could be rooted mate.if its leaking from behind the dash then it could be a little tricky.
take it to a recommended auto mechanic with an air con license and he will ascertain the location of the leak.
$800 is what you would expect to pay to install air con to a car that hasn't got it already

Leaking coolant but cant find the leak?checked the radiator and pipes but still cant find it!could it be something to do with the air con unit? only leaks when started and will drain the water out of the...

There is absolutely no way possible that the air con unit is going to cause an engine coolant "leak". The air conditioner can cause the engine to overheat if the fans are not working properly, but you will see coolant coming out of the radiator cap if it is overheating.

To find a coolant leak you just have to look for it while it is leaking. If you can see it dripping out on the ground, then you should be able to follow it up to see where it is coming from. Cracks in the plastic radiator tanks are common in all Honda vehicles. These cracks can have the characteristic of only leaking after reaching a certain temperature. You will probably have to remove the plastic shrouding from under the vehicle to see many of the leaks that can be coming from the front radiator area.

Water pumps can also leak at only certain temperatures. Sometimes they can fool you also because there are channels on the back of the pump that will direct coolant away from the water pump/ timing belt area in the event of a leak. It can look like it is leaking from the side of the engine that is away from the water pump. Again, you have to LOOK to see where it is originating from.

In your slave cylinder is a piston o-ring that seals the system. The o-ring sits in a groove. In the groove underneath the o-ring is some corrosion. Fluid is not leaking out but air is leaking in. If you take the slave apart and clean out the corrosion in the groove , may as well put in new seals, reassemble , and bleed the system, you should have the problem solved.

I have a Honda/Acura 1992 NSX. the Air Con cuts out when the coolant temp reaches 76 Degrees C. What could be the reasons? thanks

Quite possible, you don't have the correct amount of coolant in the system. Too much OR too little will throw the system off.

Dont replace just one O ring on the injectors. You need to replace all when you replace them. It sounds like you still have O ring leaks.
