The average life of a Bluetooth Earpiece is usually a few years. When you are having symptoms like you are describing it usually means that the Blutooth headset is at the end of its service life. You might want to cintact Motorola and see if they will Warranty them.
If you have already checked the volume on the earpiece, there is probably a short in the wiring somewhere. If it is under or just over a year old contact Motorola about a replacement under the manufacture's warranty. Have a great day.
good morning!! ive been thru this before, try tapping your phone volume while your talking to your party, it shold be seen on your phone screen as earpiece volume than turn it up and when you have the volume where you want it dont forget to tap the set on your phone, another prob i had was some times there is a small protective plastic film on the ear holes on the tooth and one on the mike sometimes, i could hear my party but they couldnt hear me until i discovered that lil peice of plastic. remember your key codes are either 0000 or 1234. good luck m.m.
These trouble shooting suggestions where taken from here. There are more things they suggest trying but this cutout pertains to your problem more so than other suggestions. If these do not work I would recommend reading through that guide.
Noise or Feedback:
A screeching noise when you talk you are experiencing feedback. Turning your TV down should help.
Loweringthe headset volume can also help. Go to Accessory Settings/ AudioDevice Settings (where you test your headset) and you can set the micvolume there. Level 3 is a good start. If people have trouble hearingyou then you should raise to Level 4 or Level 5.
Ifyou hear an echo when you talk try turning the earpiece volume down onthe headset. Many BT headsets have their own volume control.
Also, while the PS3 is compatible with almost any Blue tooth 2.0 headset, I have heard of of problems like this occurring where the headset had to be replaced by a different model to solve the problem. As far as I know this is the only headset guaranteed to work by Sony.
If you're using a Motorola RAZR V3, the problem is the cell phone. Also check the volume buttons on H700 that sometimes it goes the volume all the way down. It is a common unnoticed situation.
