Question about Brother MFC 6800 All-In-One Laser Printer
Is it necessary to have a repair person change out a drum or can anyone do it? Special tools, etc?
This is a cartridge-type drum meaning that one can hardly do anything wrong.

yes anyone can do this, the drum is the unit the toner fits into, remove as though you were removing the toner cartridge, that the toner all the way out of the drum unit and install the old toner in the new drum and slide back into printer, again the drum unit is just the casing that your toner cartridge slips in and out of
