Train and play puppy

Hi, we bougt the train and play puppy for my daughter for Christmas. However, after a few hours, the puppy stopped. It reacted no longer to the clicks. Changing the batteries doesn't help. Can anyone provide me the clue for getting this fixed? thanks

Have you let the loco charge first? The instructions are a bit vague but the loco needs to charge before it runs. Not easily understood from the instructions and many have spent some frustrating hours wondering why their train wouldn't move.

How do I leash train my puppy?

Before you actually start leash training, I recommend attaching a leash to your dogs collar while at home and letting your puppy get used to the leash being there. After a few days, you can then begin leash training. During the beginning stages, you should walk your puppy on the leash without pulling/jerking. If your puppy starts to pull on the leash, I suggest standing still. This lets your puppy know that you do not want them to pull on the leash. Always use positive reinforcement while leash training. Below I have attached a link to a site that helped me leash train my dog.

Are pet playpens a good way to help train a new puppy?

Yes play pens are a really good way to train a new puppy as you can keep them in a confined space and train them to use the potty in that area.
It doesn't' help with outdoor training but if you are trying to train a puppy it can be very helpful in the house.

Locomotive won't come on

This train set is very particular and getting it to work each Christmas is a family tradition in frustration. First you must make sure that all the pieces of track are connected properly and that the track is perfectly symmetrical and flat. We double-check the battery positions every year and find one in wrong. There are + and - signs, but they're hard to see; use a flashlight. There is a black toggle switch below and behind the red stack that toggles forward (to make the train go forward) and backwards (reverse); straight out perpendicular to the train is the "stop" position. Also, you have to start at a stop/switch station. One other note: behind the red stack, there is a smaller black stack. If you turn this, you can make smoke come out of the stack. I think I remember someone suggesting a drop of cooking oil. Hope this helps!!! Hope you get it set up for Christmas!!!
