SOURCE: replace glass screen on the 60 csx garmin

yeah sure with some handy work and a llittle patience you shouldnt have a problem just remove all the screws, be careful not to tear any wires remove the internal componets from your face plate take a small prying tool and remove the glass , just a few dabs of superglue and your back in business! if you want a shatter proof you can alsi use plexi glass.... and if your really adventerous you could remove the standard led's and put custom colors in .... but beware soldering on a board can be dangerous

Only hard reset cleans up memory, when corrupted.

Hold Mode and Start buttons for 10 seconds (device off). Then without releasing pulse press lap/reset button, you'll get a screen for confirmation, all data lost, including user data and routes.

SOURCE: garmin edge 705 will not

Edge 205 or 305 often crash, then impossible to power on again.

Here is the way to reset the Garmin edge :

Soft reset : hold mode and lap/reset buttons for 10 seconds
Hard reset : device should be powered down, hold start and mode buttons for 3 seconds then pulse press the lap/reset button.

After soft reset, you need to hold start button for up to 10 secs before it starts.

After hard reset, you will loose all your data, including profiles.

Scratched computor screen

How deep of a scratch is it on the screen? Just on the plastic/glass protective coating over the monitor?
If it is not in the LCD then you could just remove the plastic/glass and replace it if you want.
If the scratch is deep then your LCD is probably scratched. Sadly the cost of replacing the LCD screen within an LCD monitor is more expensive than buying an entirely new screen. Your best bet is either dealing with the scratch or getting an entirely new monitor. I would recommend visiting www.newegg.com where there are many cheap monitors there.
please rate my solution

Will the garmin edge 705 provide/ be able to produce a power watt measure during outdoor rides and what do i need to purchase to be able to get this information?

The 705 comes in multiple versions from basic that will give you heart rate to a team garmin version that has the cadence, speed, calories, etc. As for power meters the 705 is 3rd party compatible to show you watt measurements.
The following third-party ANT+Sport-enabled power meters are compatible with the Edge 705:
  • iBike
  • PowerTap
  • Quark
  • SRM

My screen on my lg kg800 is scratched how can i replace it with a new one

is the actual screen inside scratched or is the outer phone housing screen cover scratched? There is a difference. The actual LCD screen is inside the phone housing and is protected by the phones housing. If the actual LCD screen somehow was scratched it can be replaced very easily and usually inexpensively. Try Ebay for the LCD. If the phones outer clear housing is scratched you can also replace the housing either by purchasing the same phone used and using its housing or some "dummy" phones can be used for there housings also. If the scratch is not really bad I have used rubbing compound to remove fine scratches, good luck!

Scratched Glass Television Screen

you will need to replace the tube there is no screen its the actual face of the picture tube. very expensive around 500 for a new tube that size. I have a source for used rebuilt tubes for around 275.00 shipping included. If interested let me know the model number and I will inquire as to the availability.

Thick plastic film covering glass screen got deeply scratched while moving

Hi there!
I would simply replace the plastic sheeting. Will certainly be cheaper than replacing a tube. Glass tvs don't normally come with this plastic so leave it off if you can remove it. There is a type of spray on the market for this purpose, just don't know if available in your country. Please note: It is dangerous to use a tv which had been scratched beyond 1.5mm, The glass may become unstable and implode if bumped by accident. Good Luck,JUS004
