Hi, not an expert by any means, but have set several of these up for scanning. When I get these error codes I usually get it corrected by making sure the workstation has a password for the FS-1135 to use. Here are my steps that usually correct the problem.
1. Make sure the scan Folder is SHARED and PERMISSIONS are set correctly.
2. The Desktop/Workstation needs to have a password for the scanner to use.

If the "User" doesn't want to use a password then I create another user account and name it Scanner and give it a password of Scanner. Then I use that password "Scanner" when setting up the address book on the FS-1135.

I've come to the conclusion that the error code itself doesn't really tell you anything. I've gotten several different error codes, including 1103, that the above has corrected the problem.

The Error is described in the Service Manual as - "Zero cross signal error The zero cross signal does not reach the control PWB for specified time."

This can be a damaged wire harness between the High Voltage PCB and another board or a defective Power Source PCB. Bad power at the outlet can also cause this.

Move the machine to another location and make sure nothing else is plugged into the same line. If the problem goes away have an electrician check your wiring.

If the problem still occurs have a Service Technician check the machine and replace the bad part.

It's most likely a hard disk error. Try getting the HDD replaced.

KM 3060 Scan Error 2101


Hi Guys,
I was getting the 2101 error as well. I resolved this by placing the IP address of the computer into the "host name" field. Only thing to remember is that your IP address will change from time to time. You will need to assign a static IP to that particular machine or give it a reserved IP address through your switch.
