Firstly you wont get anything searching that cause it is not a model number or brand of a network controller. Look for a yellow question mark or a small red cross under all the devices. If this doesnt work get the program called 'everest' which will tell you the name of your network controller to run your LAN.

all the best

SOURCE: getting the following error on

If it is not making it to Windows at all...Generally occurs when two devices are using the same IRQ or memory allocation. This can sometimes be set in BIOS depending on the manufacturer etc. I would start by going in BIOS and restoring the default settings. There should be a menu item in BIOS usually something like "Restore Default".
If it is making it to windows then you probably just have a missing or corrupt driver. Generally this would fall under a chipset driver which can be downloaded for free from hp's site. You can also download and run Everest or SIW to properly id the device in question.

Comment back with for findings results or for more assistance.

Download and install the chipset drivers

Get onlineand got to www.google.com In the google search box type: "HPSupport" (without the quotes and put your manufacturer name before Support). Look for downloads and drivers. Enter your model number and operatingsystem when requested. Download and install the Chipset drivers.

I would firstly reboot and if that doesn't clear the error run www.iobit.com asc.setup utility to remove crosslinked files and sort out a crosslinked registry. Failing that remove the driver from the Control Panel and let the OS set up a fresh driver. Make sure the driver is the correct one!

If it just started doing this all of a sudden, then it is a good bet that *********** board is fried. If you just installed some memory or a communications card or new drive, then take it out and see if it still does it. If not, check the installation instructions to make sure it was put in right.

You have a n IRQ conflict meaning you have a device that is trying to use an IRQ slot that its not meant to talk on. From the looks of it you have been in the bios already so go back in and set it to factory default.

Hi there, looks like your devices need updates to function correctly,

from devices manager,
select the device with the yellow question,
right click and click on update
even if you have no disk or internet
let the wizard find the drivers automatically
should be preinstalled with your OS XP
go thru your list and update any other question marks in yellow.

Should be able to update the network device on this system and then connect to the internet to finish anything else

heres the link for the Chaintech motherboards

Hope this helps,Cheers Misterdj
