My Oreck Cordless iron stopped heating. The "Heating" light on the iron lights, but there is no heat.

Check and test this possible fault:
- Blown fuse
- Faulty or broken thermostat
- Broken power cords
- Broken heating elements

Hope helps.

I have described my problem repeatedly. Again - My Oreck Cord-Free Steam Iron JP8100C series stopped heating

Ok whenever an iron stops heating it is either the Thermal Fuse,or the Element or the actual temperature control. One would have to use a meter to check the Voltage at the element of the iron. & Test the Thermal Fuse.
Also though with Cordless irons it may simply be that your batteries aren't working as they should. They can quickly be ruined if not charged correctly.
I do NOT think, that this is a job for a home repair due to the added complexity that the batteries add.
You need to take it to a professional repair center and ask for a "Quote" before allowing any repairs to proceed. As the cost of repair may exceed the cost of a new one.

How the cordless iron box is working, please tell me the working principle

The working of Panasonic Cordless iron box is same as a normal Iron box except a fact that it uses rechargeable batteries for working. They can be recharged after usage. Thanks for using Fix-Ya! Please rate my solution as helpful!

Do i need that stand to make this iron work? nothings happening. lights are the only thing that works!

Does the owner's manual specify? It should. Usually those stands just give you a place to put the iron out of the way so you don't have to lay it flat on the ironing board while it's hot.

My iron is filled with water but won't steam - why?

No heat ! It's probably an electrical problem. If the electrical cord is connected to the iron properly, then it's probably one of the swithes to the iron.

My oreck iron does not heat up

Looked at several solutions, I think your best bet is to copy and paste this link below into your browser. It is a manual for your oreck iron. There is a number for support for your product.

Hope this helps. Let me know if I can help you with anything else.

Oreck Cordless Speed Iron

Try an Oreck store or customer service.

If not I would suggest Ebay or something of the sort that would have odd and end parts

Melted cordless iron to charging cradle

I don't think there is any saving this iron.

You might try heating it up again to the hottest temp. and pulling it loose, but what would you use for a chargin plate?
