In canada arc fault breakers are used for the housing market, to protect bedrooms. For years we haven<t had a problem without them being installed.. Your pc should be plugged into a regular receptical and have a surge protector plugged into the wall outlet and your pc into the surge protector. This will protect you from lightning surges and if the problem insists, check to make sure you may have to many other recepticals (plugs) wired on the same circuit.

Fuse on motor keeps poping after running a couple of hours.i reset button on motor and works fine for a while then button pops again.

What are you working on? You say "motor", so I assume it is electric, because if it runs on gas it is an "engine". If unit is getting hot, it will trip the breaker. This could be due to cooling path restricted by trash, or unit working too hard due to load being faulty.

Ptac not heating

Power? Check breaker. If poped, reset try again. If pops again you have an electrical problem. Could be dangerous. If power is good, the thermostat or heat button switch is bad. How old is Ptac? You may need appliance tech. The voltage is probably 220vac. If you don't know what your doing it's dangerous to troubleshoot. If it's still under warrantee I'd go to MFG.

I have a 4 yr old vx6000c central vac that constantly blows house breaker

This unit requires a 15AMP 120 VOLT dedicated circuit. If there are other appliances or items on this central vacuum circuit, this could overload the circuit causing it to pop. The other issue that could be occurring is that the central vacuum is on a GFI circuit or ARC fault circuit. Central Vacuum Units are not designed to run on these types of electrical circuits.

make sure you are hooking up the correct color wires to it main wire on top of switch, bottom wire of switch other color wire they should be blackor any other color , just dont hook up the white wire to it this will make your breaker pop , If your copper is touching any metal this will make it pop also, good luck

Keep poping the breaker on instllation

Check your wiring for short circuits. If you turn the switch on and it pops it may be in the switch box or up in the fan box. Also make sure the fan blades spin freely. A motor overload or short circuit would be the only reason for the breaker tripping immediately.
