White lines across captured image (by 8 users)

Hi - I have a Pentax Optio M20 and just recently, whenever I take a picture, the image comes out with white lines across it. When you look through the viewfinder, or record a video the lines aren't there. Any idea what is wrong?

I have the same problem.

I just recently started having the same problem! I had been satisfied with my camera until just recently when this started happening. I am hoping a resolution can be found soon!

Hi,

I bought a pentax optio M40 here in Dubai and when im taking a picture there is a white line on the lcd screen of my camera and i need to wait for a couple of minute so that the white will disappear, can you help me with this problem????

This is a CCD issue - may be possible to be remedied at Pentax FOC - get onto the Technical Support Team.
