Question about Zenith ZN110 Remote Control

Open Question

Change Sony Trinitron TV settings without remote control

I have no remote for my Sony Trinitron TV, and this model doesn't have manual buttons for accessing the menu (button panel is on the side of the tv and only has program, volume, language buttons) ; I also can't find the exact model anywhere on the tv (it was a hand me down).
I need to check the resolution settings as today my Sky has started to change the normal 16:9 format to 4:3 on certain channels. This has never been a problem before today but I am told that somehow the TV settings may have gone onto Auto rather than staying permanently on 16:9. So I need to access the settings to check and change.
Thanks

Be sure that your TV is set to channel 3 or 4 if you are using the RF cable or Video 1, etc if using the Audio/Video cable.  The Installation  Guide should appear.  The "improved" picture that you are seeing is simply the analog throughput, not the digital conversion.

SOURCE: I need the remote control codes

Codes for OneForAll URC-7030

Sony:
1505
0505
1651
1010

0102
0074

Procedure:
- press the "tv" button
- press and keep pressed the "magic" button until tv button blinks twice
- insert one of the codes
- try to switch off the tv set: if this works, press "magic" again to confirm the code.

Otherwise, proceed via automatic search:
- press "tv"
- press and keep pressed "magic"
- dial "991": "tv" button will blink twice
- press "tv" then press the standby button on the rc, repeating this last step until your tv set turns off. this may take several "tv>>standby" pressions.
when your tv set responds properly, press "magic" to confirm".

RC codes for ge-24914-d to control sony Trinitron TV KV-27S42.

the codes for sony are 0128, 0013, 0002, 0071, 0380, or 0152
1) Make sure the tv is on.
2) Press and hold the set up button till the red light on the left hand corner stays on.
3) Then press tv then release quickly so that the red light flashes once. (its pretty quick so pay attention).
4) Then enter one of the four digit codes and the red light will turn off.
5) Then press channel up.
If it goes up u have the right code. If not start from the begining (holding the setup button down) and do the same steps for each of the codes, one of them should work if not u have to do a code search. Follow steps #1, 2, 3, and 5 but on step 5 press it repeatedly (for up to 300 times and it says that on the instruction manual) until the device can be controled. The red light blinks then stays lit
6) press and release mute to install the code. The light will go off.
