Uniden GPSRD Radar Detector

Radar detector out of order (heat)

posted by bellomarco on Jul 05, 2007

I have a Sensoro (Steel Eye) model RW3100. It was an good radar, until one day I forgot to unhook it during the weekend and it was really hot inside the car. Right after that the radar doesn't even start. The only sign of live it's a little light that lights on for a milli-second just to give me hope, but then... nothing. No lights, no beeps.
my question is, is there anything that can be repair? is it worth it? any quick fix or should I just dump it?

thanks
Marco
