Pink and green outline on people and text

How old is the TV?After a certain number of years the pixles will degrade and around key areas they will turn a rough color.Pink green orange blue, you name it.Otherwise It could be that it got damaged in a shipping process and then there wouldnt be much you could do except take it into the retailer where you purchased it and ask if the problem is fixable.

NEED HELP

This is called diffusion, it is caused when the power supply voltages do not match what the plasma panel requires. Unfortunantly this is not something you should do yourself, high voltage danger and possible damage to the tv if you are not very experienced with this repair. A technician can however read the voltages and adjust them to specifications and this will get rid of the dreaded red dot diffusion. Very common in samsungs but not that expensive of a repair. Hope this helps.

Screen problem

This is a problem we have seen on this particular unit. There are internal adjustment that must be done to correct this problem. This adjust is done on the power supply. There are VS, VE and VA adjust. Look on the interior of the Panel for voltage chart. Adjust these voltage accordingly.

Toshiba 42HP66: red pixles in black screen light on in random order

Hello to all that have Red or Green pixels in the dark areas of any given picture on your plasma screen. I can help your fix your plasma TV. All that needs to be done is an adjustment on the Y sustain board. You will need to remove the stand and the back cover from the TV. Then you'll want to reinstall the stand so that you can set the TV in the up right position. Then hook a dvd player up to the TV and put a movie in and push play. Once you get to where you have a picture on the screen that has a dark image on the screen and you can see the Red or Green pixels push the pause bottom on the DVD player. Know you what to locate your Y sus board. It is the board that is going to be on the Left side of the TV if you are looking at the TV from the back side with the back cover off! If you are not sure what board is the Y sus then please feel free to give me a call! I will guide you to the Y sus board! 1-503-432-9904 Ask for Dave! Once you have found the Y sus you will need to look closely at the board and you will find some Blue/Yellow adjusters on the board! One will say setup and the other will say setdn next to it. Do not touch any of the other adjusters on the Y sus other then the two that I have mentioned above. If you do you could end up damaging your y sus! So once you have located the two adjuster on the Y sus with setup and setdn next to them you will need to take a felt tip pin and make a mark on the top of both the adjusters so the you'll know where the factory setting is just in case you need to start over! start with the setdn! turn it counter clock wise if there is no improvement then turn it clock wise! if there is no improvement then put it back to the factory setting and try the same adjustment to the setup adjuster. You will need to have some one help you while you do this adjustment to the Y sus because the TV needs to be powered on while making the adjustment and thus you will need to pay attention to where you are sticking the screw driver because you do not want to shock the poop out of your self! So find some one that can watch the screen for you while you make the adjustments to the Y sus! If you feel like your unsure about anything regarding this advice I'm posting please feel free to give me a call I will be more then happy to answer any questions you may have. Ask for Dave @ 1-503-432-9904 / pleasefixitdave@yahoo.com

P.S.

If you are reading this post and you have a similar problem with your Plasma TV or any problem for that matter give me a call I will do my best to help you!

You need to adjust the panel voltages, adjust the VS voltage to around 186 volts, if that doesn't change it then adjust the V-Scan voltage down, turn the unit on and apply a video source to it, and while adjusting the voltages look at the screen and you should be abe to watch the video noise fade out.
