You did not mention how far along you were when this message appears but it does make a difference. Was it before or after the Windows screen came up...

One of your hardware devices may have a bug or gone bad. Try pulling out pcmcia cards...usb devices..anything that may not be needed at time of windows install. Also be sure your windows disc does not have any heavy scratches.

cheers!

Those error codes don't really mean very much to the general consumer, but blue screens of deaths are caused by bad RAM memory in your computer, not viruses. I'm going to take a guess that your computer is either several years old and/or it constantly get quite warm? Heat can shorten the life of computer components by quite a bit. You may need to get one of your RAM cards replaced to solve this issue.

There's a free program called Memtest86 that you can run to determine if this is the case. It will scan all your memory and look for bad sectors. You can download it here: http://www.memtest86.com/ and burn it to a CD. What it does is create a bootable CD that will execute the program as the computer turns on to scan all the memory. There are full instructions on their website. The process can take an hour or two depending on how much memory your computer has, and if it turns up any bad sectors then you know what your problem is.

A computer can run with bad sectors in the memory, but it makes it unstable that it will keep bluescreening, so if you have bad sectors in your memory it might be better just to replace the RAM. Luckily, this isn't too expensive. For instance, if your computer has 4GB of memory, it probably has 2 2GB RAM cards installed. You can get a 2GB replacement notebook memory for, I'd say $30 or $40. Installing RAM is very simple, and if you're willing to install it yourself, it won't cost you more than that.

Error code oxcoooooe9 what does it mean

tech_details.gifAn executive worker thread is being terminated without having gone through the worker thread rundown code, which is not allowed.
After the Stop code will be 4 hex values: {Parameter 1, Parameter 2, Parameter 3, Parameter 4}.
Parameter 1 specifies the exiting ETHREAD (the ETHREAD structure is an opaque structure that serves as the thread object for a thread).
Parameter 2 is not defined.
Parameter 3 is not defined.
Parameter 4 is not defined.

Have you recently installed a new device or software? If so, system restore might fix you up. This site will show you how to determine what specific module caused the problem. It is somewhat complex but just follow the instructions.

Installer of hp Deskjet 810C on on my laptop since I could not use my hp deskjet 810C printer

Can you please verify that the drivers that is installed for HP 810C is proper as per the operating system.

EX: if you have Win XP then you need to install the HP 810C driver for Win XP. If you have Vista's driver for that printer then it would not work.

So install the proper driver as per the operating system and everything should work fine.

Thanks
Jimmy

Help!!

Is it a restart with a blue screen? Is it XP?
If it is XP do the following:
Boot the laptop with a Win XP cd.
When you boot with the Win XP install CD-ROM, it loads a minimal operating system, similar to DOS, but compatible with Win XP. At the first screen you select install Win XP (not Recovery Console) and at the next screen it will find that you already have Win XP and offer to attempt a repair. This repair should not touch your applications, it just reinstalls the Windows files. This is great because when it works you don't need to reinstall all your software.
If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
Thanks, Joe

The best thing to do is borrow a Win XP cd from a friend and do the following:
