Question about Hayward Pool Products Hayward Xstream Filter 150 Sq Ft, 1.5 HP Pump/Timer
To whom it may concern,
a small 1/4" crack in center of the filter,i tried various water proof epoxy
and glue from both inside and out, with a patch(inside).it worked for a few day's and started to leak again.
is their a product available to stop the leak or is a new filter necessary?
Hi mike, unfoutunatley repairs of this nature are not very good, a replacement is the best course of action

Tips for a great answer:

You can try some sort
of epoxy to seal the crack, but I myself haven't had much luck patching these pool filters. It is worth a shot if you want to save money, but don't expect great results. If you do attempt it, try a quick drying, waterproof epoxy sealant.
