Possible that the filter is clogged and needs to be back flushed or cleaned. Try this and see the inlet flow and if there is further issues the valve could be a suspect.

I can't get a water flow from my RO faucet or from the water dispenser in the door of the fridge...also the ice maker won't work. I just replaced the 3 large filters, and no change. Just a trickle, then...

If the tank is full of water (pick it up) with 8 lbs of air then the air charge is low and little or no water will come out. Take should have 7psi air pressure when it is completely empty. Make sure all the water valves are on. If feeding RO with piercing valve make sure it is open all the way and has plenty of water pressure feeding RO. If there is no water being created then there will be no water at faucet, fridge or ice maker, assuming they are all tied into the RO.

My kitchen faucet has low water pressure both hot & cold. My faucet is a Bixby 538. I removed the spray head and the pressure is still very low. The pressure is good up to the shut off valves under...

If you have pressure to the shut off valves then most likely your shut off valves are not fully opening, I would recommend you replace both valves, they build up water deposits in them a lot of the times. The other possibility is the faucet itself has a water saver filter built into it. A lot of the new faucets have water savers built into them now.

it is likely required. many new faucets have what's called a pressure balance valve that helps prevent scalding by lowering the pressure of hot when the cold pressure drops (due to a toilet flush or other water being run). Because you have pressure to only one side, that can cause the valve not to provide the necessary volume.

To replace the filter cartridge. Do the following;
1. Assuming that you have a pump in your water filter
system, shut it off.
2 Close the intake valve before your filter system.
3.To relieve the pressure, open the faucet after your
filter system. Any of your faucet for that matter.
4.Once the pressure is relieved, you can of course
replace the the filter cartridge.

Is it possible to contaminate the membrane and filters by placing drain under pressure in order to clear and forcing water out the overflow on the side of the faucet of the whre 25 Reverse osmosis system

OK, now I understand. First, on the Reverse Osmosis Membrane Housing Outlet Ports there is only a Check Valve attached to the Permeate (Pure Water) Port, not the Concentrate Port (Drain Water). The Permeate line is what fills the storage tank, so you don't want back pressure from the tank reversing into the membrane filter which could severely damage it. So, there is a high Risk for Sewer Water to Back-flow into the Membrane Filter and Contaminate it as it is discharging water to the sewer drain if there is any noticeable pressure restriction in the drain distribution manifold. Second, this is why "Air-Gap" Faucets are supposed to be used when installing Reverse Osmosis Systems. With an Air-Gap Faucet, there are three (3) attachments for tubing at the base of the faucet, and a small hole drilled out underneath the lever or handle of the faucet. The 1/4" pressurized drain line tube from the RO System attaches to the 1/4" barbed fitting under the faucet base, then a 3/8" drain line tube attaches to the 3/8" barbed fitting. So when the drain water is pumped up to the faucet under pressure, it returns to the sewer line under Gravity, or No Back Pressure. Then, if the plumbing becomes restricted in any way that the RO Unit can't drain into the sewer under gravity feed, the hole drilled in the base of the faucet allows the back pressure to be escaped to the atmosphere, and if necessary drain water out of the hole until the plumbing pressure restriction can be resolved. This eliminates the possibility of a reverse flow pressure situation from occurring. Hope this helps, and you can always visit us online at www.puresafe.com We have filter cartridges for all makes and models of RO Systems, and 1/2 micron filters that no one else in the trade is using at this time. Thanks, Victor

Water flow is too powerful..

I got you, you want a screen to be put on the spout!
check the inside of the spout. there may be a internal thread, if it is, then you can get a external thread screen from home depot.

Power fail light, water and air filter warning light, and crushed ice dispenser light stay on all the time.

Your stated water pressure is abnormally high; well systems supply 30-60 pounds of pressure and municipal systems are *supposed* to be around 60# since most plumbing (faucets, showerheads) is designed around that point.
If your pressure has been measured at that level, more than your refrigerator is at risk of failure.
