Mine worked fine until suddenly only the logo shows. Fresh batteries haven't helped. My computer won't recognise the player at all. Help?

Sorry to ask the obvious, but are you sure the battery is charged properly?

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Not enough space for Music DB, please free 8 MB

The Sansa m250 requires a separate folder to load your songs to in order to achieve the full 2 GB. Set your USB to MSC. Plug it into your computer. Create a folder TUNES. Then drag and drop your mp3 or wma files to this new folder.

Try going to menu, then settings, then USB and then select MSC instead of the auto select. Hope this helps.

Try doing a hard reset on a Sansa m250:
  1. Turn off the Sansa. Just pull the battery out for a second and then reinstalling the battery without pushing any further buttons.
  2. Plug the Sansa into a computer4.gif, and open "My Documents" in the computer.
  3. Open the Sansa file as if it were a drive, then go to the "MUSIC4.gif Specific storage" file.
  4. Right click the "MUSIC Specific storage" file, and press "Format."
This should hard reset the Sansa m250. This solution has worked for me.
I do not know if this will work on other Sansa m200 type .mp3 players.

My Sansa m250 does not appear!!

Try this ... Press Menu button, Go to Settings, Go to USB, Highlight MSC and press the white button. Now, connect it back to your computer and see in Explorer if it picks it up as a separate drive labeled SANSA.

Also, make sure you are loading songs into a separate folder. I named my folder TUNES.

Not enough space to listen

If it''s any consolation, the same thing happened to me after I loaded about 1.6 GB (~250 MB left) of music on my Sansa m250. I tried to delete the required 8MB, but the directory structure got destroyed to the point where my computer wouldn''t recognize the device. I called their technical support and they''re having me send it back to them for a replacement! It''s not you, but the player! I don''t know if there''s anything that can be done from a consumer standpoint.

Hi I am not an expert by any means, but when I had issues with my M250, I went to the Sansa site and downloaded the latest firmware onto the M250 and my problems disappeared. Good luck
