Re: Web Cam Problem
See section B. Yahoo Messenger in the info below.
Web Camera’s have to be
setup on the program they are to be used with.Just installing the camera on your computer does not set it up to
broadcast on messengers or Skype.
Each program has Options that have to be setup in order for
the Audio and Video to function properly.
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US. click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need. Goodluck!

1.for 9 beta: *Can you see your cam clearly? I mean no black screen. If your web-cam is having black screen, then you have to set it. On main messenger screen: click messenger click connection tick "connect directly to the internet" click apply and ok. Then open your cam and check if it working or not. *Visit:
2*Follow the steps below to change your camera source. Click "Messenger" Click "My Webcam. Click "Messenger" again. Select "Preferences." Click "Webcam." Click "Camera Source." Click the pull-down menu and select the camera you want to use. Click "OK."
First, please check your connectivity settings within Yahoo! Messenger to make sure you're not connecting through a proxy server. Here's how:
Select " Yahoo! Messenger." Select "Preferences." Select "Connection." Select "No Proxies." Click "OK." Close Yahoo! Messenger completely and start the program again. This should eliminate the error message. please visit these site www.autodirectmarket.com , www.autoloanph.com to learn more
There are many inconsistencies between Yahoo! IM and Windows Live. Basically, you can connect to members of each, but the status may not update correctly and other features like web page sharing may not work. My recommendation is if most of your friends are on Yahoo! IM, then switch to Yahoo! IM. Lastest is version 9. Version 10 is in beta.
did you downgrade from vista
the cam will need to be setup with yahoo and msn
if your having problems installing the cam then try
some vista programs will not work with xp and the same with some xp programs will not work with vista
so let me know if cam is downloaded and you just need setup on msn and yahoo
check the features in the yahoo messengers i believe version 8 for vista will not allow you to use a webcam if you have vista operating system. Im not sure if version 9 allows you to or not. Like i say you have to check out the features for your version of yahoo and see if it allows you to use the webcam based on what version of windows you are using
i have a logitech webcam. it doesnt work. I can see myself and i can see my "cousin" on her webcam. But she can't see me. Whats wrong??? She says that on her computer it says that my webcam is not connected. but it is!!!!
