Question about ASUS P4S800D-X Motherboard
Ok so I've had this mother board (P4S800D-X) for almost a year now and it's been shitting up on me ever since I first got it. I'm hoping you guys will beable to help me. 1) The Network Card The motherboard's network card, whenever I plug in a cable it crashes my PC, no warning nothing it just unboots and once I take the cable out it goes back to normal. Simple right? Oh but it's not. I put in a new network card and now it ran just dandy until recently. My PC refuses to use that network card as in every time I try to plug my network cable in it works for a little bit, then my network dies then comes back then dies then comes back. So I think "Oh ok, yeah my network card is fucked I'll just put in a new one" I try it, same problem. Any ideas on how to fix either one? 2) Random slowdowns. Sometimes when playing a game I'll hear a *phfeeww* noise coming out of my computer and everything will freeze up for a little bit and then come back this will usually repeat until I close the game, I still haven't been able to pinpoint the source of the sound unfortunately.
Yes first of all you are telling me that your pc crash when you insert the network cable. What you can do is to try installing another operating system or service pack, maybe it is caused by a bad ram, resource conflick, bad network connector on the cable, also see if your network card has not the same address as another hardware ,this will make a conflict which will definitely caused this type of problem,if not so reset your bios
