The blower run like new, start easy everytime. Good/clean air filter and pre-filter, new spark plug, new air breather(just install). It realy look like it run out of air(plug air filter) or can't pump gas due to no air intake on gas tank. I try with no air filter....same thing.

Remove your fuel filter (in the tank usually) and, replace it

the carb has a screen in it it needs to be cleaned out the fuel gets crystalized in the carb when it sits for a while. and if the carb has a high and low on the carb meaning 2 screws on the side of the carb .one is for air and the other is for fuel try this first start it up and give it full throttle and turn the high adjustment till it does something screw it in slowley and or out till it is at full rpm sometimes the adjustment screws do vibrate there way out of adjustment .if it dont work then take the carb apart to clean out the screen

If the trimmer is more than 3 to 4 years old, you may want to replace the carburetor parts, (new carb. kit). It also depend on the amount of use.
If it is newer than that, then you will need to disassemble the carb. and spray with carb. cleaner. Make sure that the small screen in the carb. is free of debris. Use a Den tek Brush,
(http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.asp?pid=165357&catid=1152), to clean the small portals in carb. Reassemble and start.
If you need further assistance, just let me know.

Likely dirt in high speed needle valve(H); could be leaky fuel line(air leaking in), plugged fuel filter, pinched fuel line, etc - anything restricting flow of fuel. Likely, you aggravated an existing problem by cleaning the air filter which would have been providing some choke effect if it were partially plugged.

Hi, I have a Shindaiwa EB8520 backpack blower. The unit starts right up but when I give it full throttle the blower motor begins to die out ,then I give it throttle and the motor picks up speed for a few seconds and then starts to die again. The unit had been running fine before. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thank you
I just check the spark arrester...it is clean.
