Here's a link where you can download the user guide for the PDC 3035, just click on "Get This Manual" and it will prompt you to download the PDF: http://camera.manualsonline.com/manuals/mfg/polaroid/pdc_3035.html
Im sorry to disappoint you but when you format it ,this mean that you not just deleted all that you had on your card and camera memory ...but also made it raw and format the memory again on the allocation unit size...so...if you have the pictures downloaded somewhere its fine cause you have a chance to save them or even put them back on the card ..if this was the only place where they were present they are gone for good... Next time save pictures before format ...even if you just shoot a few ...make a habbit to insert the card on a card reader and copy them on the computer or better on a disk as a back-up...or use the data cable to do that and beware ...even so if you cut them from the card instead of copy ....or if you click on the case that says delete after import ....this end up with loosing them from the card ...and only get them on the computer ...and even here they are not safe cause any computer can crash anytime and end up loosing them also ...so always back up ...or save them on a disk or even on a hosting site on the internet ...
Most cameras dont require software to work, just use windows XP and most cameras will be autodetected and will download pics to your PC. software is usually a bundled media manager and cheap gizmos, none that are necessary unless it is a streaming video driver for a webcam setup.
The PDC 700 camera TWAIN driver is not 100% compatible with Windows Me because it does not support USB downloads. No new driver software is available from Polaroid -- however, a compatible TWAIN driver is available from a third-party source.
The Pretec DC-800 is the functional equivalent of Polaroid's PDC 700. Pretec's DC-800 Setup Disk for Windows 95/98/ME/2000 is available for download at its online Driver Download Center.
