Which software i installed in my nokia 7610

Menu > Messaging > Options > Settings > Text Message > Message Centres (the very top option, above centre in use) > Options > New message centreIf the above post doesn't help, Restore the factory settings. Dial *#7780# on the phone, I think it retrieves the message centre number through the sim card with this.Usually in some cases a format of phone and mass memory is needed if it doesn't work. So go for *#7370# and see

Everytime i try to send my text it just goes to outbox, meaning its not sending its been two days already since i have that problem,,

When you send out text messages, and the message goes to out box, it could be any of the following:
1. The funds on the line is not sufficient to send the message. So, check your balance (especially if you are a pre-paid subscriber), and if it is insufficient, recharge your line.
2. In the event that the above is not the case, then your messages centre number may have been tampered with. To confirm if it has been tampered with or not;
from 'menu',
go to 'messages',
then 'message setting',
then 'sending profile',
select the profile in use,
then 'message centre number'
select the number , if it has been tampered with yuo would see it.
But in the event that you dont know yuor message centre nuber, check the number on another phone of the same network as yours, using the same steps to get to the message centre number.
If the number on your phone is wrong, correct it with that of the cheking phone, and select 'ok'. Then try sending a message.
3. If all the above suggestions did not work, then it should be a network fault. Call your mobile service povider for more information.

Hope that helped?
Success.

Cannot send text messages, trying to find the message centre number? where do i locate this??

Hi,

You cannot send messages because the message centre number stored in your mobile may be wrong.

Please enter the correct message centre number. To get the correct message centre number please call your service provider and they will provide you the number.

Thank You

u have to write the correct message centre number .you can obtain it by calling ur network call centre and the another solution is that delete all the previous message centre numbers turn off ur mobile . take out your sim from the phone and than put it back in this way the default message centre number will be reset to its default . the message centre number is located in the messaging options.
