PS2 will not play DVD

Make sure the disk is compatible and not damaged.Try playing another disk and see what happens if you still do not get anything you may want to consider a xbox or 360 with remote control for dvds. Also check to see if ps2 has a remote for playing dvd disc. never worry!!

Hi im not sure if you got this cause my page went out. The solution is that the ps2 is really ment for gameplay. If the DVD does not work then put in a gameplay disk and see if that works. If that doesnt work then all outlets from the ps2. Heres interesting.This same thing happened to my son and it was because my son always played during a storm was approaching or during a storm. I know it could be very dangerous. When you play during a storm your ps2 or any game system will die even sooner. Thats because every system has something in it which will make it power open the disk tray ect. That also could be the problem because it will not always read. Thats my solution.
