SOURCE: how do i seperate the drum unit from the dev unit

For the 4510, the two units are provided together as one supply item and are not meant to be separated. However, if you do need to separate them, there should be two vertical screws (one in the front and one in the back) and a couple of screws on the metal plate on the backside of the two units.

Be careful when separating the two units. There is toner that can easily spill out of the PCU if it is flipped over.

U have to reset the fuser thermostat manually.

FUSER REMOVAL:Remove rear cover, top cover, left and right cover.

Remove two screws. Unplug two connectors. Pull out Fuser unit.

Thermostat removal:

remove two screws, separate the upper part from the lower part,,

remove separation claws (3pcs each 1 held w/ screws at the rear)

remove the heater lamp, and upper fuser roller...

remove two screws that held the thermostat (circular shape)

(reset manually)

If you touch the top of the thermostat you will notice that it is in concave form...,you have to drop it hard on the flat surface in order to bring back it\'s original form which is CONVEX.

THEN,Repeat procedure in STEP 1.

Estudio350 with error c010, checked the fuser, drum unit , dev unit, all are turning freely, error comes on as soon as fuser comes to full temp

Error C010 indicates main motor fault. Please check the main motor. If main motor not running under output test, then you'll need to replace it. If motor working, u might need change the LGC board. Take the drum unit out and check inside for any irregularties in drive system belts.

Hope this helps...
