You probably got rid of the drivers for the webcam I would try the web site driverguide.com and fill out a free registration search the data base for your driver download and install the reboot your computer

Hi,after formatting your system the driver for your webcam has been deleted which means you have to re-install the drivers for your webcam in order to get it working again.

I formated my computer and now my webcam is not working trying to reinstall it with the cd and still not working


1st You download Webcam Driver.
I formated my computer and now my webcam is not wo...
After this install the Webcam driver in the system.
Installation of Webcam Driver
Go to the control panel
Click on the System Icon
Click on the Hardware Tab
Click on the Device Manager s
Select the Unknown Device or printer device where yellow Question Marks sign on it.
Right click on it and uninstall it.
After this go to the top of the device manager and click on scan for hardware changes.
Driver installation Wizard start.
Brows Your Driver from the Hard Disk and click on next.
Driver will be install.

Webcam problem


Dear, your dirver is not compatible with your operating system, you need to contact the vendor for compatible driver version. You can search it over the internet in google or any other search engine.

did you install the driver for the webcam after formating??? install the driver if u didnt.
if the system wont detect the cam then go to hardware devices and scan for devices and then install the driver
