I have a model sl-pd847 and experience similar problems to many other submitters. I checked the main pcb and found discolouration around what appear to be 2 (power?) transistors and probably a voltage regulator. After about 4-5 minutes after switch on these get really hot. I suspect that may be the reason why it doesn't work anymore. Worth fixing? I don't think so. This one didn't even play CD-R let alone CD-RW! Get something a bit more up to date I say.
I have experienced this problem like 5 times within this day alone. Seems like Facebook is just having technical difficulties on their system. Just try to logout and login after a minute and see if problem goes away. You might want to use a different browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox.
Please let me know how this goes. Thank you for using FixYa.
Hi Morgan, Please first check whether your webcam works as stand alone device or not( by stand alone i mean whether it works without yahoo msgr or not) After that check whther your webcam works with other messengers like SKYPE and GOOLE TALK messengers or not. Most probably you may need the Webcam driver softwarefor your acer, for that you can contact Acer.Acer technical support number is 1-800-816-2237 and they are open 7 days a week on central time. Weeks days they close at 9.00pm central time, and weekends they close at 5.00pm central time. if the problem is not with acer then you can try the following ;
Here is the answer:
Daisy did 2/5ths or %40 of the barn in those two days as she can do the whole lot in 5 days she did 2/5ths or %40 in 2 days so thats %40 of the barn done.
Didith did 2/8ths or %25 of the barn in those two days,
so the amount of barn painted in the first two days is: 1/4 + 2/5 which equals %65 of the barn complete in the first two days. so there is %35 of the barn left to paint and only Daisy (who can paint %20 of the barn in one day)
so to figure out how many days it takes Daisy to paint %35 of the barn this is what to do:
%20 = 1day
%35 - %20 = %15
5x5x5x5 = 20
5x5x5 = 15
therefore it takes Daisy 1/4 of a day to paint %5 of the barn
therefore it takes Daisy 3/4 of a day to paint %15 of the barn (i hope you are following me here!)
1 + 3/4 = one and three quarters of a day
Therefore it took Daisy one and three quarter days to paint the remaining %35 of the barn.
So it took Days one and three quarter days to finish the job after Didith left.
Hope this is helpful
