Maytag Refrigerator/freezer alarm will not turn off.

check that tha fan beside the compressor in lower back is running and that condenser tubing is lint free, also check for icing on frezer back panel if so you could have a defrost problem, if all is good you may have a freon leak inside the frig walls as tubing is all metal and will rust when sitting for a long time in storage due to moisture build up from been warm outside and cool inside during normal usage in which case you may need to change the appliance at that point you will need a service call to find if there's still freon inside your frig and of coarse your control may not read the properly..

My lg dryer 2301 started a lint fire which set off the smoke alarm.

Your vent is clogged somewhere along the way, causing "blowback" into your dryer which builds up lint inside the cabinet and causes fires.

You need to clean out your dryer vent.

Dryer not heating in any dry cycle and check filter light comes on, although filter is clean. IHow many fileters are there.

Just one but the thing is if there is a restriction in airflow that's the alarm your going to get. Turn the dryer on and with it running located where it vents to outside and verify that there is a good strong air flow. If not lint could be blocking the path, the vent itself could be crushed behind the dryer, Another way to check is to just pull the dryer vent off the back and turn it on and see if the alarm comes on. If not then the dryer is fine and you have an exhaust issue.

My frigidaire dryer start and a few seconds later an alarm sounds and E68 appears.

Remove your lint filter. Now remove the waffled plastic that covers the lint filter slot. Hint, its inside the dryer, and there's two screws holding it in. Be careful when you pull it out, because there's two wires connected to the metal strip on the bottom edge of it. That metal strip is either the temperature or moisture sensor, I bet. Don't drop the screws into the lint filter slot. If yours is like mine, you'll find that a lot of lint has built up around the contacts for those two wires. Carefully clean all the lint (use soft toothbrush), and reinstall. While you have it opened up, stick your vacuum's crevice tool down inside the lint filter slot and clean up all the lint in there as best you can. Problem solved. I think the build up of lint was shorting the two contacts, and this was screwing up the electronics.

Lint alarm sets off too easily with only a trace of lint

check the exhaust duct work going outside, and make sure that the area where the lint screen goes is free of obstruction.

Bosch Nexxt 800 series dryer E01 error

My wife has a Bosch Premium dryer that had drying problems. The lint filter would get cleaned but the machine still did not operate correctly, as you explained above. Her machine was made in 2005 and the lint screen, the plastic slotted unit in front of the lint filter was the problem. It gets clogged up with hair/lint that never makes it to the filter. I tried a shop vac to vacuum it but the problem was still there. Get a pistol cleaning kit for a 22 cal gun. Pull the lint filter out & then take the pistol rod and insert it from the drum side into each slot and pull out the tons of lint. Pull the lint off the rod when done and take a flame to burn the rest off as the rod is a brass brush with small wires on it.
