Question about Dishwashers
There appears to be a short in the control panel, I've only had this machine for 1 1/2 years.
Possible that there is moisture within the control panel and which could result in malfunctioning of the board. Remove the board and use a hair dryer to warm off the moisture within ,cool off and reset checking all connectors and links. If this wont work then it can be due to faults within the board or the touch pad which could be damaged.

disassemble front door to get to the latch. Check if the latch is properly in place, sometimes the metal cylinder that hold it in place, slips out of position.

Hello, This sounds like a very common problem with Bosch dishwashers unfortunately, that is based on your description it likely has a faulty heater relay. The "1" is actually an error code identifying a heating fault. The issue with Bosch dishwasher`s most times lye`s within`the electronic timer/control, specifically the heater relay solder joint. ( a faulty flow switch, ntc or heater can also cause this error code "1", but not very probable ). I`d first suggest calling in an authorized bosch servicer, however If you feel capable there`s a way to visually inspect the control. It will require you to remove the control from the unit and then remove the control from it`s plastic housing and look for a burnt solder contact on the printed circuit board. This will be one of the pins from the heater relay, hence the unit sit`s and takes forever top finish ( because it can`t heat to advance or until canceled ) trying to heat the water. **Further to this, if you or someone you know is proficient at soldering, a lot of times it can be remedied by simply repairing the solder...although Bosch recommend`s replacing the control and I don`t pretend to speak on there behalf nor do I profess to know better. This is just my experience (it work`s) and my opinion (why buy new if one can repair ?)** **Please disconnect the power before attempting any service to the dishwasher. If you do not feel comfortable attempting this service, call a local pro, preferably one familiar with Bosch/Thermador/Gaggenau, to service your machine.** Hope this answer`s your question, let me know if I can assist you further. Thank`s for visiting "fixya" for your repair inquiries. Please take a moment and rate this solution and leave a testimony. Good luck. macmarkus :)

II might need the actual model number. However, you can go to page 9 on this manual and check if the flashing options can fix the problem. I am assuming you have already tried to turn the power off and back on.
The ohter thing to try is the reset sequence. Within 6-7 secs press High Temp/ Heat Dry/ High Temp/ Heat Dry/ High Temp/ Heat Dry. All lights should light up, press Start button to exit.

"Er Clean S" is a common error with Frigidaire which means
shorted keypad. The issue is with the touchpad/keypad that should be replaced.
However, before replacing the keypad you can unplug it and take it apart
completely and use a hair dryer to blow some warm air on the keypad assembly to
blow the moisture off. Hope this helps...please post back for further
