red, yellow, black/ign constant ground
blue, blue white stripe/rem pwr ant
grays, whites, purples, greens/ front front rear rear
its the same on all headunits except cheap *** wal mart headunits

Buy yourself an Optics Cleaning Disc from Walmart. It has little brushes that clean the tracking Laser and the Read Laser. Yours are dusty and the CD can't be read.

I have a Kenwood kdc-x817 I get power but the only thin that move's is the face but it doesn't turn on...can somebody help me out pllzzz..thanx!!

If you have it wired up correctly you will still need the security code. Getting that from Kenwood if you don't have it is like trying to drink an ocean with a shot glass.
