Question about Magic Chef 9815 Electric Single Oven

I'm getting a random beeping and F1 error.

Another individual had the same issue and the solution was that a control board was required. What is a control board?

F1 code is a error message between the keypad/user interface and the control board located just behind the keypad. Replacing the keypad will usually fix this problem.

Ned's to know witch relay to replace wich f8 problem

Hi there! Typically for such an error code, F8 or F80, there is a communication error between the UI (User Interface) and the control board (often the microwave control board). Yes you have a microwave control board in a double wall oven. This will require either the main control board or the UI board being replaced by a professional for safety reasons. I would suggest to contact a professional that partners with your manufacturer. Contact your manufacturer first to see if there are any known issues or a limited warranty for your model.

Power to the control panel appears to be lost at random times. Then sooner or later it beeps and can be reset. All will be well -- until the next time when the same thing happens.

HI. The beeping is an indication of a major control issue. This issue involves the internal control board. The logic chips are failing at this time. Due to the fact that the error continues to be an issue, even after the reset is initiated, This will require the replacement of the electronic control board. Once replaced, the issue will be solved.

Digital screen goes off oven will not work stove top is working fine

The "digital screen" is connected to the electronic control board which controls the oven (the surface elements on the stove top will not be affected by this problem). The "flickering on and off" could be any connection that feeds the electrical supply of the control board. Like something in the wiring harness that feeds the relay board, or the wiring harness that goes from the relay board to the electronic control board. It could also be the relay board or the electronic control board themselves. To isolate the problem you would need to check electrical supply to each board at the time of the "problem" when the "digital screen goes completely off." This would tell you where you "have" the voltage and where the voltage supply is lost. If it is a loose or burned wiring harness replace the harness or individual wire causing the problem if it turns out that it is the relay control board or electronic control board replace them. The relay control boards are typically around $75.00 and the electronic control board $150.00 and up. Might be cheaper to purchase another used oven or bite the bullet and buy a new range.
