Question about Zanussi ZHQ575 Electric Double Oven
Hi,i am trying to remove a faulty fan/motor from my Zanussi oven model number ZDF 866 W,i have removed the back of the oven and tried loosening the nut which holds the fan blade itself, but it just appears to be turning and nothing is happening, the initial problem was a very noisy fan/motor,if i could remove the old one and replace it i think it would solve the problem, any help appreciated.
Regards
Eddie.
Turn the nut the other way (counter clockwise and this should tighten tohe loose fan (which is what is causing your noise). Be careful not to strip the thread !

You are probably trying to undo the nut the wrong way.
It is a left hand thread, so to undo it, you go clockwise, as though you were trying to tighten it, and vice versa to tighten it up again. If you can't unscrew the nut, you will have to grip the fan spindle with something whilst you undo the nut.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.
